Do you ever stop and think, “I’m lucky that I’m alive right now and watching Tiger Woods play golf?” Because you should. Because you should think that. Because we are lucky. Because he’s the greatest golfer to ever play the game of golf.
Think about that for a minute.
He’s the greatest golfer to EVER play golf. Ever.
And I’m not saying that he’s the greatest who ever will be, because we don’t know that. That would be an assumption. This is a fact. He plays the game of golf better than any man who came before him and if you are able to read this right now you are able to watch Tiger Woods play golf.
We should be thankful for that. Talk to a man who saw Joe DiMaggio play center field. Talk to the people who witnessed Wayne Gretzky score more goals than games in 81/82. Listen to the way people still talk about watching Sandy Koufax pitch.
And then try to explain Air Jordan to an 11-year-old who just missed Michael.
